Caroline Chinakwe joins forces with legendary British hip-hop photographer Tee Max, whose three-decade archive includes portraits of The Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, Nas, Toni Braxton and Beyoncé.

For this limited-edition collaboration, Caroline reworks two of Tee Max’s iconic black-and-white portraits — The Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes — through her bold language of colour, pattern and texture, bringing 1990s hip-hop photography into a contemporary Black British art context.
